Plain gazpacho base for making ice cubes for green smoothies
Recipe type: Cold Soup
Serves: 4
  • 4 large tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • ½ large cucumber, peeled and chopped
  • ½ small onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ large lemon or 1 lime‚Ä®, juiced
  • sea salt, to taste
  1. Place all the ingredients into the pitcher of a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
  2. Portion into ice cube trays and freeze.
Optional additions include: hot sauce, hot peppers, bell peppers, fresh grated ginger, mint, basil, cilantro, almonds.
